The Bi-Annual Journal Entry

Yep. That's pretty much what it has come down to, now. xD

In any case, I should be (hopefully) picking up a scanner soon. Flatbed, of course. Probably like the one Toon had and let me use.

...Oh wait, I don't remember if I said this in my last journal. But, I moved. Yup, all the way from Arizona to Massachusetts; now living with my fiancee and his mother because it's superhellaexpensive to live out here on one's own. I may be making almost $10 an hour at my new job, but I still feel poor. :c

In any case, urge to draw is slowly coming back. I've done maybe one piece in the last I don't even know how long? It also sucks because now everything has to remain as lineart unless I feel like coloring it in GIMP. Which means I have to find my tablet CD and re-install it on my new Toshiba. Shouldn't be too much work.

In any case, on the lines of a scanner, does anyone have a good brand/model they'd like to recommend me? I'm really not trying to break the bank here, but I would like a nice one that doesn't try to kill my laptop whenever I use it. xD
