Yeeeeeeeeeeah. So it's been...three months? Since I've actually last updated this journal, and god knows how long since I updated my actual artwork.

Never fear, for I do have art...plenty of it...to upload. I think it's because I'm just so busy with everything--I was laid off from my job late October because my store was closing; then school just demanded all my time. Now that I have at least a seasonal job, things are looking better: at least I've broken my curse of never having a job around the holidays. I hope. At least for now I have.

Perhaps within a week or so I'll try to upload some of the things I've been doing. Remember Vertigo, everyone? I at least have a couple of pictures for chapters that I have planned. I haven't forgotten about my story...I think I'm just afraid to write it, y'know?

Also, I've been in kind of a sour mood lately; been biting off my words and basically just being a little meaner lately. Either that or I'm standing up for myself more. I kinda hope it's a little of both, lol. I'm too shy, too nice. That needs to stop.

Also...been playing the HELL outta BlazBlue. FINALLY got the True Ending...what a mindfuck! Too many things going on...must play Continuum Shift, must play Continuum Shift...Lol @ its Japan arcade release on Ky's birthday, 11/20...saddening that New Moon comes out the same day... *pfft* Also been playing a lot of Persona 4...do want to finish, please. Must get True Ending and second playthrough. Also must get Persona 3 Portable when it can be released stateside...can you tell I'm addicted?

I think I might have gone on a little too long. At least journal-wise. So I think I'll leave you all with the warm, fuzzy feeling that I still exist somewhere. :heart:

Howdy! :D

Yeah, it's taken a while for me to get back online; I'm sorry. I've been busting my ass at work trying to pay back some debts/bills and whatnot. Also, trying to spoil myself as well as paying off said debts. Everything will be back on track soon, promise guys!

Art...in progress. Got lots, LOTS of Persona-themed art coming up. Also, in celebration of Dissidia Final Fantasy coming out on August 25th, got a couple of art pieces planned for that...one of those being because I swore to a friend I'd do it in time. xDD

Anime Expo '09 was EPIC. Everything went off smoothly...save my costume...not exactly fitting too right. I lost too much weight from Day Zero and couldn't wear it! But alas, I still wore my custom belt buckle (thank you, *Jin-Saotome! <3), and Ishiwatari (Guilty Gear's creator)...LOVED it, and :icontoongirl:'s one as well...so much that he practically tried to steal them! But, him and Toshimichi (BlazBlue's creator) were really nice guys. Funny, too. I think the best part of the trip (besides the obligatory Phoenix Wright dinner and seeing all our friends again) was the fact that we were staying in the same hotel--shared the same ELEVATOR space--as Ishiwatari and Mori! :heart::heart::heart: Highlight of the entire Expo, lol.

Also, seeing ~jadedice in Artist Alley and having her do commissions for me was incredible. So nice...you should really see her art!

So, this is me just...spilling everything out. Whooooo...I better get crackin'!

One, was a badass movie.

Two, is Day Zero for Anime Expo 2009.

Thankfully, everything is done. Ky and Order-Sol, as well as Zombie!Mia and April are pretty much all nestled away in our suitcases, ready to take off with us to sunny Los Angeles, California. For those I haven't seen in a while, I'll be seeing you there! For those I haven't seen and aren't going, I wish you were!

Whew, the last month and a half has been hectic. I still can't believe we have gotten everything done on time. I'm so...SO relieved.

On a sadder side of things, Michael Jackson and Billy Mays. I can't believe it...it's really still a stunner, and it's all sinking in...I'm shocked. :0 Personally, though I favored Anthony Sullivan more than his partner, Mays was still a great man...and ONE HELL of a seller! Jackson...he had his problems, but shit, he too, like the great Freddie Mercury, changed lives with his music. Those two men will forever be missed. :heart:

It's the final crunch time for Anime Expo. Yeah, I am a little stressed; I'm no good at sewing or just clothing craft in general, and yet tomorrow I'll be working on Ky's gloves and his boots. I know that they won't be the perfect carbon copy, but they're close and they fit me well enough.

Thanks to :iconjin-saotome:, :icontoongirl: and I have the most AMAZING belt buckles. If you get a chance to browse my favorites, look them up! I think I'm most happy about really getting those done...it's funny how I stress out most about little details.

Also, to keep the memory of Phoenix Wright alive, I'm going as Ghoul!Mia for the Phoenix Wright dinner. Basically, since my jacket is so dirty, I'm dirtying the rest of my costume (besides the hooker boots that double as Ky's) and making myself look kinda dead. It's all the request of a friend.

Also, stressing about my job. Getting paid Arizona's minimum wage is horrible, but what can I do? I don't really have a choice...until after Anime Expo, that is. Thing is, do I really want to abandon a job that I like 99% of the people at just to find a better paying job that I may hate? Choices, choices.

So yeah...this kinda turned out to be a rant journal. I didn't really mean for it to be, but I guess I just needed to spew. So I'll wrap it up with a survey I stole from :iconraginredheadcajun:. :iconimhappyplz:

Well, it's that time. I figured I might as well update about my Anime Expo costumes.

Ky Kiske (Guilty Gear, normal variant) is a go. It was a surprise gift to me that it was being done, so I'm very happy about it. >u<

Also, sadly, I won't be able to make Gabriel in time for Anime Expo...but, there IS a Claude going in his place, accompanied by Dias. xD So, for those doing a Star Ocean cosplay for Anime Expo, sorry you won't have the big villain there...but maybe two of the Twelve Heroes will have to do? xDD

Claude's and Ky's wigs are thankfully going to be the same, sans some styling for Ky. Claude's jacket is proving to be a task with my lack of sewing skills, but thankfully, the young Ensign is really more about modification than anything. xDD

At least I'm getting help on it!

In other news...I have a Victimology final tonight, due at 9pm. Kinda screwy, yeah, but oh well. One class down, three to go. I don't need to take the final for AJS 101. :D

Well, here's to hoping I do well!
